Remember that Tory MP that organised an entire Nazi themed stag do and DIDN'T get kicked out of the Conservative Party?
Apparently Labour forgot about it or they would have had his name in every press release in their, horrible, no good, very bad day.
He was filmed at a nazi-themed stag do, that he organised, where the groom and, others dressed up like Nazi soldiers, performed Nazi salutes and made toasts to the the Third Reich.
When audio and video emerged the press rightly pounced on the MP and the Tory party but, alas, the MP was only subject to an internal investigation where it was found that he acted stupidly but, not in a racist manner.
I don’t think what Naz Shah did was smart at all. If she had any ambitions of being an elected representative of her community she should have been advocating proper and constructive communication. She could have even pointed to her own ill-informed views and shown some growth if she held different views now. Ken Livingstone is just stupid. The Haavara Agreement does not make one a Zionist.
Remember, that is the agreement that would have forced all Jewish people out of Germany but, first, all of those people would have had to give their assets to the State.
Having said that, the press have come down on the Labour Party with their usual zeal. My question is, if the Tory party didn't suspend Aiden Burley in 2011 why are they out for blood for this non-criminal action in 2016?
PS -- The stag do took place in France.
Fun fact: Nazi uniforms, symbols etc are illegal in France. Aiden Burley's mate was taken to court and fined €1,500 by the French Government.*
